Dominique Pifarély is a violinist, improviser and composer. As a soloist, he is in demand on both the French and international scenes, and his work as an improviser is particularly highlighted in solo recitals, as well as in a duo with pianist François Couturier, or in a trio with clarinettist Louis Sclavis and cellist Vincent Courtois. He also performs with his quartet. His interest in poetry and literature leads him to collaborate regularly with the soprano and improviser Géraldine Keller, as well as with French contemporary authors such as François Bon, Violaine Schwartz or Claude Favre.
